Headphone Amplifiers

Why not use a pocket sized headphone amp designed to improve sound quality and boost volume (if required) when listening with headphones or earphones on an MP3 player (such as the iPod), computer, mobile phone or other portable devices.

A headphone amplifier takes a line level signal and allows you to drive headphones with it. Normally a line level signal would not be powerful enough to drive headphones without amplification

With Headphone Amplifiers there is also no need to restrict yourself to listening through the standard noisy headphone output of your iPod or audio source - The dock connector on the humble iPod includes a high quality line level output, meant for connecting the iPod to a HiFi via an iPod dock. With a simple dock connector audio cable it’s possible to feed a portable headphone amplifier with a clean line level audio signal, bypassing the headphone output completely

Headphone Amplifiers are available for less than £10 and can dramatically help bring a line output to a level that can drive headphones

We have a comprehensive range of Headphone Amplifiers and dock connectors from iBasso, FiiO and Graham Slee...
